Rheem FER (Fan Energy Rating) Information

Starting July, 2019, furnace manufacturers will no longer be able to manufacture furnaces with motors that do not meet the new efficiency guidelines.  This directly impacts furnaces manufactered with PSC motors.

Example Rheem furnace models that are impacted are: R801P, R802P, R92P, R95P, R96P

ABR Wholesalers, Inc. is committed to making this transition smooth. As the PSC models become unavailable from Rheem we'll be replacing those models with furnaces that use Constant Torque and ECM motors.

Here are quick links to information regarding the FER rating and Rheem's cross reference guide to new models.
