Polypropylene venting is designed to vent water heaters, condensing boilers, and warm air furnaces.  Polypropylene venting has been the common choice for venting in Europe for well over 20 years.  Pipes can handle higher operating temperatures, do not require the use of glue or primer, and are 100% recyclable.

Schedule 40 PVC and Schedule 40 cellular core PVC, are currently rated for a maximum temperature of 140 degrees F.  CPVC is rated for up to 190 degrees F.  Polypropylene venting can support exhaust temperature of up to 230 degrees F.

There is a cost difference between schedule 40 PVC and Polypropylene venting.  Since poly pipe connects with gasketed fittings, is lighter than PVC, and can be assembled and disassembled easily it is the easy choice when it comes to venting.

ABR Wholesalers stocks a full line of polypropylene venting ranging in diameters of 2” and 3”
