It’s a special Air Handler and requires dedicated controllers as it’s a Fujitsu unit. Please see the two images below for reference.
There are a few things to consider.
1. For garage installations the furnace must be a minimum of 18” off the floor to prevent the possibility of igniting flammable vapors.
2. One filter is recommended whether in the ceiling or under the furnace, that choice is up to the installer, although by the furnace that would facilitate more frequent changes.
3. The return air temperature can never be below 55 degrees, if colder than 55 ,the flue gases will condense in the heat exchanger leading to an early failure.
We reached out to the manufacturer and we do not have the dimensions of the blower motor at this time.
Line voltage connections are as follow:
Black 120 Vac from circuit breaker
White neutral
Green Ground
Reference the image below.
Please see below from the installation manual. When the unit is suspended, access to the bottom of the unit will not be restricted, thus facilitating removal, replacement, and reinstallation of the water panel.
Line voltage (120VAC) is required to operate the heater.
A dedicated 15amp SPST circuit breaker and the following wire will suffice.
14/2 Romex or 2 conductor 14 ga. MC cable.
We would need to know if it is in warranty or not. If it is, model and serial of both units are required, then a request is submitted via email to orders@tradewinds.com to verify availability.
For it to be most effective you have to pump away from the air scoop, this will lower the pressure allowing more air to be released from the water. This is based on Henry’s Law. Fluids under pressure will dissolve gases into it until the pressure is lowered, much like opening a bottle of soda or a deep sea diver ascending to the surface to quickly and getting the bends.
I strongly recommend reading “Pumping Away” by Dan Holohan.
It’s a 150,000 BTU input at 80% efficiency BTU output is 120,000. Converting that to watts equals 35,190 watts.
The screws on the exterior of the housing need to be removed. The housing can then be removed to gain access to the coils.
That number is printed by the manufacturer of that specific component and in no way is used to reference the Reznor circuit board.
